Dear Young Scholars and Leaders, and Esteemed Supporters,
As the President of the San Antonio Korean American Scholarship Foundation (SAKASF), it is with immense pride and a profound sense of responsibility that I extend my heartfelt greetings to each of you. The journey we have embarked upon together, fueled by a shared vision of empowering education and nurturing potential, continues to be both inspiring and transformative.
Since our foundation's inception in 2022, our foundation has been steadfast in its commitment to breaking down the financial barriers that hinder passionate and deserving students from pursuing their academic dreams. We would expand our program to unwavering support through mentorship, donations, or advocacy that enables us to extend our reach further each year, touching more lives and crafting success stories that resonate across communities.
The Korean American communities have successfully grown and contributed to our society. We have excelled, and it reminds us of the power of education to foster change, innovation, and growth. These achievements are not just personal milestones but because of hope and inspiration for all of us committed to the cause of accessible education.
The need to support and invest in the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators is imperative. Together, we can continue to dismantle the financial barriers to education, creating a world where every student has the opportunity to thrive, irrespective of their economic background.

샌 안토니오 한인 장학재단 (SAKASF) 위원장으로서 깊은 책임감을 갖고 여러분 한분 한분께 진심어린 인사를 드립니다. 미래 리더들을 위한 교육 역량 강화와 잠재력 육성이라는 비젼을 바탕으로 장학재단이 창립된 이래로 우리가 함께 시작한 여정은 계속해서 더 나은 장학사업에 대한 영감을 주고 성장하고 있습니다. 2022년 재단이 창립된 이래로 본 재단은 미래의 꿈을 이루기 위해 열정적인 학생들이 학문적 꿈을 추구하는 것을 방해하는 재정적인 장벽을 무너뜨리기 위해 노력을 기울여 왔습니다. 저희 재단은 현재의 장학금 수여 뿐 아니라, 여려분의 기부와 격려를 통해 멘토링 프로그램등 매년 우리의 범위를 더욱 확장하고 더 많은 청년들의 꿈과 삶에 감동을 주며 지역사회 전반에 울려 퍼지는 성공 사례를 만들기 위해 노력하겠습니다.
미주 한인 사회는 성공적으로 성장하여, 여러 분야에서 우리 사회에 공헌해 왔습니다. 이러한 뛰어난 성과는 변화, 혁신, 성장을 촉진하는 교육의 힘이 있었음을 상기시켜 줍니다. 단지 개인적인 성공의 이정표가 아니라, 누구나 교육의 기회를 갖을 수 있도록 하는 대의에 헌신하는 우리 지역사회 모두의 희망과 헌신이 있었기 때문입니다. 차세대 각 분야 지도자를 지원하고 투자해야 하는 것은 우리 사회가 가진 책임감입니다. 교육에 대한 재정적 장벽을 허물고 학생들이 경제적 배경에 관계 없이 성장할 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있는 세상을 만들고자 저희 장학재단은 노력하겠습니다.
